Day 28…Lots and lots of decorative edges! My scissors have been put away for a long time! The kids think they are the coolest thing ever! Especially the KidZors!

Day 27…Busy day yesterday and my emory card went all wonky and deleted itself and died on me so have a tulip!

Day 26…Pretty pansies…when I saw they had been replanted earlier in the winter I thought…Why are they planting flowers this time of year?! Well…because normally it is mild enough for them to live all winter long! Something I am not used to seeing at all!

I better stop putting my pics off till the end of the day! When the themes I have planned for later weeks come I won’t be able to take minute shots!

A couple years ago a good friend of mine gave me a Matryoshka set. The kids have loved it but I won’t let them play with it. They played with it a little this weekend and it’s already looking a little beat up.

So I went out shopping the other day and came across this set! When I got it home it was really hard to open and hard to close so I was kind of bummed! Til I realized I could sand it and that fixed! The girls love it!

My sister noticed on the bottom of my daughter’s set that it was made in the USSR in 1980. Very cool!

And the bottom of mine just for comparison…

Starting Friday my weekly theme changed to colors!
Day 23…Last night we had my daughter’s 7th Birthday Party! She wants to be an artist! So she got lots of art supplies! Today they were painting and all the colors were perfect for the theme!

Day 22…At first I wanted to do ROY G. BIV but yesterday my daughter and I bought flowers for my other daughter’s birthday and the pink daisies were too pretty not to take a pic of!

Day 21…Thursday was the last day of my “Music Inspired” week. I had the whole afternoon to myself so I went driving! I turned down a road I have been wanting to explore and was nicely rewarded! The stretch of 196th Ave. from Redmond Way up to Union Hill Rd. is paved with red brick! It was bumpy and noisy and so cool to drive on!
