Day 219…Bountiful Baskets…So this morning I woke up at 7:11. “Hey Babe…I think I hear your alarm.” or something like that. I use my cell phone as my alarm and I am finding that having it on the floor on vibrate really does me no good. I don’t even hear it vibrate. But luckily Chaz had woken up and saw that I was still in bed so he kindly woke me up. Why on earth would I be getting up so early on a Saturday morning?! Today I went to pick up our first Bountiful Basket. It’s a neat little (or not so little) program run by volunteers to bring healthy fruits and veggies in at a lower cost to you. (Or so they say). It was interesting. I don’t know if I will do it again be cause I am not really sure it was that great of a deal. You be the judge because getting up at 7 after not falling asleep til around 1:30 or 2:00 has left my brain with out the functionality to figure such things out. 
Day 218…Castle Golf Family Fun Park…I found this in a box of pencils the other day. The family fun park was closed long ago. We were so bummed when we heard it would be closing. And when they said it was going away they really meant it! They tore out the goofy golf, the batting cages and even the castle!! This is all there is left of it…well in my home anyway….

Day 209…Mmmmmm…I made apple cobbler this day. It was yummy! Not the best apples for it but it’s what we had. I keep telling everyone to remind never to buy Red Delicious apples ever again. Definitely not my favorite, or anyone else in this house for that matter.

Day 208…So the new town library is not he prettiest building you’ll ever see…but it makes for some neat architectural shots.

Week #31…Season ~ Summer…A more accurate summer picture right now would have been a shot of all the dark clouds that have been covering the valley for the last couple weeks. Or the wonderful rain that those clouds bring. Or the lightning that always accompanies those! I love the summer monsoons! But I also have a fascination with these strange plants you see popping up all over! The Agave americana…or better known as the Century Plant. They are pretty cool!

Day 204…I was out taking pictures of the bees in this bush in our back yard and I realizes there were several bees of another type hiding out in the bush that I had totally over looked! And further evidence of my lack of observance…I had no idea that little crab spider was hiding out right in front of me too! Not until I started looking at the pics on my computer.

Week #25…Pairs…I knew this week would be a busy one so I just picked the first pic that was “pairs” related. Lots of pairs of legs!
I didn’t want to do a black and white pic for this week so when I saw this tire track on the road outside of Home Depot, it was perfect!

It was nice and sunny today so I had fun looking for any backlit objects I could. Well they all turned out to be flowers.
Week #11…Blue…and this is all I got that week…pretty disappointed in myself with this one. The possibilities were endless with blue but I am finding myself less and less interested in this group lately…but I tend to do that with any project I start. So I will continue on.
Week #10…Work/People at work…I really like how this one turned out! I really like the upper half of the picture the best!
Week #9…Flare…This was one of those happy little accidents that I love finding after getting home and looking at the pics I took that day! I was in an awkward position, camera in an awkward angle…and on that little screen I wasn’t that thrilled with the picture. I took a lot after this too and didn’t like any of them! So this was a pleasant surprise!
Week #8…Diptych Collaboration…On top is a pic from my brother Thane, who is in Iraq.
Bottom is from me, here in beautiful state of Washington. I really liked the contrasting landscapes! The picture he sent was perfect!
