But I think I like it that way…It’s a lot more fun to see a weeks worth of pics in a post than a day at a time. Maybe a new blog title is in order…Weekly moments…
too bad I own the amomentaday.com domain.
It’s still daily so it still fits…
Day 210…

July 29…

Day 209…Mmmmmm…I made apple cobbler this day. It was yummy! Not the best apples for it but it’s what we had. I keep telling everyone to remind never to buy Red Delicious apples ever again. Definitely not my favorite, or anyone else in this house for that matter.

July 28…

sixty-four colors ~ golden rod…Not my best sixty-four shot…but sometimes this whole 64, 52.5, 365 business just gets old I don’t feel like putting in the effort. :/

Day 208…So the new town library is not he prettiest building you’ll ever see…but it makes for some neat architectural shots.

July 27…

Day 207…Watch out!! My daughter was quite worried it was going to get me if I got too close!

Week #31…Season ~ Summer…A more accurate summer picture right now would have been a shot of all the dark clouds that have been covering the valley for the last couple weeks. Or the wonderful rain that those clouds bring. Or the lightning that always accompanies those! I love the summer monsoons! But I also have a fascination with these strange plants you see popping up all over! The Agave americana…or better known as the Century Plant. They are pretty cool!

July 26…

Day 206…A nice crisp nectarine is my favorite!

July 24/25…

Day 205…A close up of the above Century Plant…

July 23…

Day 204…I was out taking pictures of the bees in this bush in our back yard and I realizes there were several bees of another type hiding out in the bush that I had totally over looked! And further evidence of my lack of observance…I had no idea that little crab spider was hiding out right in front of me too! Not until I started looking at the pics on my computer.

Day 203…A real start to the summer monsoons! I love this time of year!

Day 202…I took the kids to the park closest to us…it’s small but there is a lot of room to run! And that’s really all they need, right!?

Day 201…Ants are NOT an easy photographic subject! They were far too busy to stop and pose for me!

Day 200…Two night in a row this week we found a tarantula on the wall outside. They were pretty small and could have been the same one both times. We want to catch one and keep it as a pet now!

Day 199…I would see these little guys in Washington from time to time but I rarely had my macro lens around. I love taking pics of them!

Day 198…My husband was out in the backyard yesterday and told I should go out and take pics of the big bumble bees! I love their fuzzy bodies!

Day 197…Abandoned…the boys took baseball stuff to play with at the park. It was quickly abandoned…

Day 196…A thank you…for the beautiful seaglass and shells…

Day 195…Rain! You would think after living in Washington for 11 months we would be sick of rain! Nope…the girls and I quite enjoyed it!

Day 194…Newly constructed t-ball fields and a soccer field at one of our favorite parks. The giant sports balls are pretty cool!

Day 193…My initials used to be so easy to type…heh…

Day 192…We have an apple tree in our backyard…my daughter asks all the time if she can go check the apples. She’s convinced they are ready to eat now! In time we will have lots of yummy apples!

Day 191…Yesterday we went down to the clubhouse to get our passes to the swimming pool and gym. The kids can’t wait to go to the pool! It will be nice on hot summer days! And if you are wondering what that has to do with a Black-Eyed Susan…they are planted outside the clubhouse.

Day 189…A facebook friend mentioned all the sea glass she had found on the beach. I mentioned how I love sea glass but now that we live nowhere near the “sea”…I won’t be able to find it anymore. She offered to send me some! And this is what she sent! I love it! And now it is sitting on my kitchen counter!

Day 188…You might say I am somewhat of a penaholic…ok not just somewhat. I love pens! I love the Sakura Glaze Pens!!!

Day 187…The key to my new ipod touch!!! It will take a little time but it will be mine!!!

Day 186…I spent a good part of the day going over pics from my niece’s wedding! Wow I feel old! She made a beautiful bride! I wish them the best of luck!
I was over taxing PS and had all her pics open…not a whole lot…but still too many. And PS crashed… :Z I wanted to throw things and scream. I was done all but saving…soooo…I’ll go back to them in a few days.

Day 185…On June 11th two communities were forever changed when a small plane, owned by a Florida family, crashed into the High School that I and many others have attended over the years. The family of four perished in the crash and a very large section of the school burned down. In the following days friends of the oldest daughter in the crash began posting tributes and memorial videos for her. Before it was officially confirmed, Lexi Ulrich’s friends and family knew it was their loved ones that had been in the plane. Both communities held memorials for the Ulrich family. In Round Valley a couple hundred people gathered to show respect for the family.

Day 184…HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!

Day 183…Just a sneak peek of the days events…there is a reason I have never agreed to do a wedding. I am so not qualified for the task. But I couldn’t not take pics for my niece!

Day 182…

Day 181…
Day 180…As we waited outside the theater to watch “The Twilight Trilogy” we were standing next to this button…I really wanted to push it! But I didn’t…

Day 179…
Day 163…I am RESPONSIBLE for my children?!?! Who ever said I was responsible!?!?

Day 162…Please…no pictures today…

Day 161…Yummy fruity snack…

Day 160…old school…

Day 159…

Day 158…

Day 157…Rocky…Seth’s pet rock…He found this rock the day we moved here and has held on to it since!

Day 156…

Day 155…It’s been a long time since I posted any spiders! He was posing for me and everything!

Day 154…

Day 153…My niece is getting married!!! And she asked me to make origami lotus flowers to use for her decorations!

Day 152…

Day 151…Level 5 at Pike Place Market…we took Ashlyn and Grayson to the Gum Wall! Ashlyn loved it!

Day 150…Unfortunately I got too busy this day and totally missed my shot… :/
Day 149…Happy can of beans…

Day 148…The kids had “Field Day” at school…it rained so the field became the school…

Day 147…It’s been awhile since I took a flower pic…right? I saw little patches of daisies on the side of the road the other day and decided I needed to go back when it wasn’t raining to get some pics. Today was that day…

Day 146…SLUG BUG NO SLUGS BACK! Or as my kids play it… SLUG BUG ORANGE!! Oh the memories…both old and new! VW now has a commercial where they “Slug Bug” whenever any VW drives by…I find that rather lame…They aren’t all BUGS! It’s isn’t a game of Slug VW?!?!

Day 145…Lately when I don’t get out and take any pics for that day, I resort to folding something and taking pics of it. So here was my day of no pics…don’tcha love my bug-eyed dragonfly?!

Day 144…Yet another day of not picking up the camera til it’s too late or too dark or jut not at inspired at all…so my sixty-four colors pic get to share the spotlight with 365 days…I really don’t like doing that but some days it does. My son colored this butterfly for me for Mother’s Day this year…I love it!

Day 143…Ruby Beach…Last weekend my husband and I took a trip out to the coast. It was such a fun couple of days! We did SO much! He tried to kill me taking me to so many different places and making me hike all over! But all the beautiful views were worth the health risks!

Day 142…Lake Crescent…We were both so amazed with the beautiful crystal clear blue water in all the lakes and rivers! It was awesome!

Day 141…On the ferry ride from Edmonds to Kingston I was out being blasted by the wind and rain and freezing my butt off…but it was ll worth it when I saw this! It was a full double raindbow reflecting off the water! It was beautiful! I couldn’t get it all in one shot though…

Day 140…My son is also Origami obsessed…so for Mother’s Day he folded this for me…
